The cultural heritage in a few clicks: build your visit itinerary

The Inrap museum gallery makes available to all the witnesses of more than 300,000 years of history, from prehistory to modern times.

Each object is presented with an associated patrimonial and scientific documentation (cf. Each object is presented with associated patrimonial and scientific documentation (cf. documentary resources and thematic files on the Inrap website, museum websites...) allowing to go further in the understanding of the object and to consult the necessary information, before discovering it in situ in the permanent collections of the partner museums.

Crossed search keys allow you to search chronologically, thematically, geographically or by material, to build your visit itinerary and create your exhibition catalog in a printable version.

The gallery also offers a permanent tour complemented by temporary exhibitions related to the news of the Institute and its archaeological discoveries.

The gallery gathers to date more than 200 archaeological objects. It will be progressively enriched thanks to the discoveries of the Inrap, in collaboration with the museum institutions that present them.

The gallery is in addition to the various forms of heritage transmission and mediation that Inrap offers to the public, as well as participatory patronage, artistic and cultural education programs (EAC), National Archaeology Days (JNA), and cultural production.
