Small Roman scale with two ranges. The arm (jugum), of square section, is graduated differently on two sides: the first is marked with five spaced dashes; the second is punctuated with small dots very close together. The hooks (ansae) allow to adjust the range of the scale. The suspension ring of the chains that supported the plates is broken. A weight cursor completed this tool for money changers or jewelers.
